The majority of leagues have surveyed all clubs as to their wishes for the remainder of the season. We are also waiting for an update from the FA and DCMS re proposals for the restart of football.

The Hellenic league clubs have voted that the Premier league season will not continue. The league have indicated that they may run an inter league cup competition although again clubs will be asked for their views.

In relation to the Ladies team, Development team, Clan FC and youth teams it remains a wait and see approach. Proposals are for the season to continue until June 26th.

We as a committee have met frequently during lockdown and are ready to go when safe to do so.

What’s new?

We have been successful in a recent Football Foundation Winter Survival Grant. This will be spent on new equipment (goals) and pitch maintenance . We are also committed to seeking new machinery and ensuring that we have all necessary PPE and signage for our return.

Whilst we wait for a further update from the FA, we hope to bring you some exciting news soon which really will be a great boost for the club.

And finally, we hope to be able celebrate our 75th Anniversary with you in style. Plans are in there early stages and much depends on the government restrictions and lockdown roadmap going to plan. Watch this space.
