The team started well going 2-0 up within the first 20 minutes, with goals from Dani Roberts and Sophie Lester. Not long after, Launton had a quick player through on goal and our defence had to make a big tackle decision leading to a penalty that saw goalkeeper Rachel Hamer getting her fingers to the ball but it hit the net. Then shortly after with a high press they soon equalised taking the game to 2-2 just before the half time break.

The ladies fought well and worked the well drillled Launton side out in the second half, where they did not see a shot on goal. Sophie Lester 16 years scored her second and finishing in the last 10 mins with manager Leah scoring to comfortably take us to a 4-2 victory.

Credit to Launton who have come on so much in the last couple of seasons with some great young talent coming through their youth section similarly to us.
