Sports one of three Regional winners in the UK of FA / Mcdonalds Competition

Easington Sports Football Club are delighted to announce that we are one of three Regional winners of the FA / McDonalds competition to host an FA Community Award day. This is to take place on Saturday June 3rd between 12-4pm.

On this day we would like to welcome visitors from the local community to visit us to take part in a number of drop in coaching sessions, fun football based games and to see the changes made to Addison Road as part of our ground development plan.
On this day guests will be offered coaching by a number of ESFC qualified coaches supported by Phil Lines Soccer Coaching and Paul Warnecki (Just4keepers Soccer Coaching).

We would also welcome local businesses / partners who would be interest in speaking to staff on site with a view to supporting one of our many teams for the 2017/2018 or support us with further ground improvements. Our website/facebook/twitter accounts receive over 3000 a week hits on average and with many visitors to Addison Road each week this is a great opportunity for any potential investors.

This weekend is one of our busiest in the football calendar with over 80 teams visiting us for our Annual Football Tournament. We have chosen this date for the FA Community Award day to showcase ESFC and to allow members of the community to see the club working hard to provide football in the local area. At 4pm the final stages of the tournament will be concluded and visitors to the Community Day are welcome to spectate during the afternoon.

What are we looking for:

- New players for a number of our youth teams (boys and girls) including for the 2017/2018 season Under 11/Under15
- Any persons interested in establishing a ladies / disability team in line with out 5 year development plan
- New coaches to support our existing pool of over 30 qualified coaches
- New sponsors / business partners to support our project either through team or club sponsorship.
- Members of the local community to visit Addison Road and see the amazing recent ground improvements undertaken.

Why chose Easington Sports?

- Over 30 CRC checked and qualified coaches ranging from UEFA level to FA Level 1
- Over 17 existing teams ranging from ESFC Minis, Under 7-17 boys and girls, ESFC Reserves and ESFC First Team
- A clear pathway from youth football into adult football
- A club coaching mentor programme to ensure all coaches are developed within the ESFC philosophy
- ESFC have taken the lead in partnership with the Witney and District Youth Football League to provide futsal to young players for the 2017/2018 season
- A newly formed ESFC girls section with teams to enter into the Oxford Mail Girls League for the 2017/2018 season
- Clubhouse hire to members of the local community

The rise of Easington Sports Football Club has been incredible over the last few seasons, which owes much to the hard work of Club Chairman Richard Meadows and other committee members. In recognition of this, our story is to be featured in an edition of the Banbury Guardian and an issue of Football Focus Magazine

The award of the FA Community Day provides us an opportunity to showcase the club and invite you all to join in a fun, family friendly club environment.

All we ask is that you are considerate when visiting us on the day. No parking is allowed on Addison Road and due to the Tournament there will be limited parking available in BGN school. Please consider your method of travel when attending and be considerate to local residents.
