Manager Phil Lines has ended the Hellenic Division 1 West campaign on a high. Although there are still matches to be played today, Easington cannot be caught which means the players and the management end the season in 4th spot. This is a record equalling season of 2014/15.

Reflecting on the season this was a terrific effort given the disruption to the first team squad in the latter stages of the season. A maximum return from the last three matches made the difference and showed just how committed the squad were to ending the season as high as possible.

Phil will be stepping down now leaving behind good foundations to allow the club to progress again next season. Plans are already underway and there is every reason to be positive about future seasons with the ground grading in place and the club throughout going from strength to strength.

Easington Sports committee and supporters would like to congratulate Phil, the management and the players for a job well done this year. A short presentation followed the last home match against Tytherington Rocks and so this is rare footage of Phil marking the end of the season with the supporters.
