The frantic end of season continues this week for the adult section, with three more home matches and a cup final for the Development side in the Byfield Bethal Cup at Woodford United on Easter Sunday.

The first team will face another tough run of matches starting with Daventry Town at Addison Road on Wednesday, followed by further home matches against Aylestone Park and Newport Pagnell Town on Saturday and Bank Holiday Monday. Sports will be looking for further points from this run of fixtures to be safe from relegation and so there is plenty riding on these matches. The Clan are building momentum after some narrow defeats followed by a significant 6 points last week after excellent wins over 3rd placed Coventry United and a must win game against GNG Oadby Town at the weekend.

EASINGTON OLD BOYS DAY

It was always going to be a congested fixture list after the poor weather in January and February. However, the game on Saturday 4th April should be the highlight of the fixtures with this being an “Easington Old Boys” Day. Some pictures of past and present sides found here.

In our 80th year, Sports have invited past and present adult section players and committee to the United Counties Premier Division match against Aylestone Park FC. This should be a great opportunity to get behind the first team for another crucial game whilst sharing a drink and few stories with past playing mates. There will be a PAY WHAT YOU WANT entrance fee for the game with all proceeds going to Katharine House Hospice and Prostate Cancer UK.

Whilst enjoying the company and the game, photos will be arranged on the pitch for past players and Puritans Radio will be looking forward to commentating on the game followed by some post match interviews. A food truck "LOVE and PIZZA" will be on site serving pizza and a range of chicken tasty snacks also.
