The first team players, management and club this morning dropped off a large amount of festive presents, essentials and chocolates following a collection arranged by Elliott Barton and the squad.

The generosity shown by our players and management group this season has been staggering and a real credit to the group. Led by Elliott Barton the Clan have continued to support Local Larder and today made a donation to the Children’s ward.

Most of our players, coaches and committee are originally from Banbury and most have a connection with the amazing work undertaken by the Horton Hospital.

Club Secretary Jamie Hunter feels the important community work undertaken by The Clan is a reflection of the philosophy within the club

“The amazing generosity of the first team squad, match by the club, shows the extent to which we want to be part of the community.

Our support of Local Larder has been incredible and today’s visit is another example of us as a club trying to give back to those who do such great work in the community.

We would like to thank everyone who supported this effort including Local Larder, Neil Allen and the staff at Sainsburys, Ami-Con and St Neots Town FC who also contributed.

The philosophy at the club is to develop the individual as well as the player. To see this led from the front by our players and staff is fantastic to see”.
