Its always important to not get too high or down after a defeat or victory... although managers Craig Pearman and Jody McKay be very pleased with a 1-0 win away at Malmesbury Victoria FC.
That is now two back to back victories and slowly, the side is beginning to get the points their performances have deserved.
Craig Pearman and Ben Milner used all of their Southern League experience to keep the lively forwards quiet whilst Pete Moulder had an excellent game up front, winning his phyical battle and bring the rest of the team into the game. 3 good saves from Matt Dixon ensured Sports kept a clean sheet and took all the points.
The goal came from Matt Keenan mid way through the second half. Matt was the only player to not stop when the ball struck an opponents arm in the box and his sweetly struck half volley flew into the corner of the net from the edge of the box.
Sports are away to Letcombe next week and will be looking to kick on again.
