Sports will be looking to celebrate 80 years of football with an “Easington Old Boys” day on Saturday 4th April.
Sports’ first team will be up against Aylestone Park FC at Addison Road in what will be a busy bank holiday weekend of football.
Easington Sports would like to invite all past players and committee members to this United Counties Premier Division league fixture to mark 80 years of the club's history. There will be a “pay what you want” entrance fee for the game with all money to be split between Prostate Cancer Research and Katharine House Hospice.
This is the first time the club have opted to put an "old boys day" into the calendar, and it will be something that should become an annual affair around the Spring fixtures. It is hoped the day will be a chance for former players and past committee members to get together with old friends to relive memories whilst enjoying a game against one of the league’s play off contenders.
More details regarding the day nearer the time. Whilst the club will make every effort to promote the day, please do share the date so that we can get as many old faces back as we can!
